Hawaiki’s transoceanic telecommunication infrastructure linking Australia and New Zealand to Hawaii and the United States heralds a new era of international connectivity, bringing socio-economic benefits for businesses and consumers across the Pacific region.

The challenge.

Hawaiki needed to execute an international expansion rapidly from New Zealand to both Australia and the USA to commence work on its project to build a 15,000km subsea telecommunication cable across the pacific.

We needed help to navigate the complexities and challenges of Australia’s corporate regulatory environment so we could focus on our major telecommunications infrastructure project.

We have supported Hawaiki from breaking first ground in New Zealand in late 2016 to commencing commercial operations in 2018, and beyond. Hawaiki has since scaled up extensive operations in Australia, including the establishment of a state-of-the-art Network operations Centre in Sydney. With a projected life cycle of 25 years, the network will connect over 350 million consumers in Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa, Hawaii and continental United States.
