Acclime is currently expanding its screen industry capability into Australia, with the formal launch of its Australian screen services offering expected in the coming months. The expansion builds on Acclime’s established position in the New Zealand screen sector, extending specialist support to both international studios and domestic producers across the Australian market.

The development reflects growing demand for integrated, cross-jurisdictional advisory support among international studios and producers working across the Asia-Pacific region.

Services for international studios and domestic producers

Once established, the Australian team will support clients across the full range of services required for screen productions. This includes company establishment and corporate secretarial support, structuring, accounting, tax and incentive advisory, as well as operational support across cast, crew and production activities.

The offering is designed to meet the needs of both large international studios entering the Australian market and domestic producers requiring specialist advisory support for their productions.

An integrated trans-Tasman incentives solution

A key element of the Australian expansion is the introduction of an integrated trans-Tasman incentives advisory solution. Through what Acclime refers to as its “ANZAC incentives” approach, the team will be positioned to advise international studios and producers on production incentives across both New Zealand and Australia within a single, consistent advisory framework.

This means studios and producers can receive coordinated support regardless of whether their live action or post, digital and visual effects (PDV) production is ultimately based in New Zealand or Australia (or spans both jurisdictions).
